Meet Matthew Braud, Co-founder of Sustainable Harvesters which was formed out of the necessity for fresh and local produce in the Houston, Texas market. Their mission, passion and commitment is to grow the freshest produce using the most efficient, sustainable, and safest technology available.

Sustainable Harvesters has over 12,000 square feet of environmentally controlled greenhouse that has the capacity to grow over 7,000 heads of lettuce every week utilizing growing techniques called Aquaponics. Aquaponics is the combination of aquaculture (raising fish) and hydroponics (the soil-less growing of plants) that grows fish and plants together in one integrated system.
